What is the Alexander Technique?
Are you interested in the Alexander Technique, but not sure what it entails?Β We view it as a preventative treatment to compliment chiropractic as a curative treatment, preventing posture problems from developing into further issues.
Peter Brierley, our Alexander Technique Instructor, writes…
The Alexander Technique a simple and practical method of self help that may allow the body to return to a natural state of poise and balance, regaining greater ease and freedom of movement. Poor postural habits can start in childhood through poor chairs, copying elders or by developing undesirable habits i.e. slumping, rounded shoulders, stiff necks etc. Also modern stressful living can result in our bodies holding on to far too much muscular tension.Β In later life we see some people βpulled downβ and shrinking in height. The human body is a wonderful machine designed to be kept in balance but if we habitually distort our skeletal frame and musculature this may cause health problems and detrimentally affect our quality of life. We all have the freedom to change so why not book a Β£5 taster session with Peter to find out more.

I see the Chiropractor Adrian regularly for my whiplash injury. He's very professional and always explains what he's β¦ More about to do so that I understand. I have complete faith in him to adjust my neck and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you -

Having hurt my back on holiday I went to Attend to Health for first time and saw Megan the Osteopath and I can't speak β¦ More highly enough about her. She has been amazing. After 4 sessions she has got my back back to normal. Having limped in there 4 weeks I am now walking properly.
Can't speak highly enough about Megan and she's such a lovely lady and always has a smile on her face.
As I left She said "keep doing your stretches!". And I will.
